We may be far away, but our love of exceptional food and interesting people has connected us to chefs Valentine Warner and Mark Hix. Together we have built a program, Kitchen on the Edge of the World, for 2019 and beyond, driven by the world’s best chefs and mixologists in a truly extraordinarily wild backdrop. Supported by influential speakers be they artists, filmmakers, nature experts, with experiences including island picnics, fishing, hare hunting, knife making, yoga and plenty more.

Come along with us to be truly inspired, connect back to nature, and enrich your spirit with simply incredible food and drink made by chefs and mixologists who all bring nature and the seasons to life through their work.

But how do I get there?

Plane: Our closest airport is Leknes, which is approximately an hour drive away from Holmen Lofoten. Airport transfers are provided upon request.

Boat: The local ferry from Bodø to Moskenes island departs usually twice per day, with extra services during the summer season. We are a five minute drive from the Moskenes ferry terminal. Timetables for this service can be found at

Car: Holmen Lofoten is located within Sørvågen village. Follow the European route E10 road towards the direction of Å village. Our facilities include private parking.
