Mark Lord

Mark Lord aka Lino Lord leans into the rich history of craft from Cornwall to capture fascinating natural and iconic imagery.

A professional photographer whose 22-year career behind the camera led to a passion for capturing the essence of the natural world, his heritage growing up on the Cornish coast and the people that look after their small corner of the world.

His prints lean into the rich history of craft from Cornwall, embracing timeless techniques to capture fascinating natural and iconic imagery. From the naive folk art of rural England to the St Ives school of artists, retro-chic contemporary objects, and simple Scandinavian design, Lino Lord’s work embodies a natural, distinctive style.

Mark will share his love of lino printing by teaching guests how to develop techniques and their creativity by sharing the skills he has developed over the last 5 years. From drafting the design, carving the lino and printing the final artwork.

In collaboration with Jeremy Lee’s pioneering Modern British food, Henry Harris’s inspired, gutsy take on French cuisine and Valentine Warner’s love of story and celebration, Mark will inspire us and offer a uniquely creative journey with printmaking.
