including Bagatelle, won the Norwegian Championship in cooking in
2009, and spent six years on Norway’s national culinary team.
In 2020, he returned home to establish Kvitnes Gård, a restaurant and
farm connected to his family history.

seasonality and minimal waste. Foraging, farming, fermentation and
whole-animal cooking are central to his philosophy.
Kvitnes was awarded a Michelin star in 2026.
