We are looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our family run hotel and restaurant here on ‘the edge of the world’. We are currently recruiting chefs, waiters, cleaners and a receptionist.

Holmen Lofoten is located on the tip of the Lofoten archipelago, famous for its rugged beauty and wild nature. Working here is not the same as working in a city restaurant – it has its own unique set of challenges and rewards. We are looking for people with a creative mind, positive attitude, a heart for adventures – and most important of all; the ability to adapt to the different challenges we may face in this wild and wonderful setting.

We are a family team first and foremost. Holmen Lofoten was created by Ingunn Rasmussen, who grew up here and played alongside the quayside. Her family lived off the land and sea, fishing and foraging – a way of life we seek to protect and preserve. We work closely with a small selection of carefully chosen suppliers and have developed a reputation for working with seasonal produce, local farmers and skilled artisans to create a culinary experience that captures the magic of Lofoten. 

Holmen Lofoten provides fantastic dining year-round, and five times a year becomes home to the Kitchen On The Edge Of The World, an event that brings together world-class chefs, artists, crafters and explorers in a maelstrom of creativity. Frequently topping the charts of must-visit destinations in Scandinavia, Holmen can offer a job opportunity like no other.
